Fresh Soil Youth Mentorship Program: To help young people make informed and responsible decisions about their lives. Valuing young people means involving them in the design, implementation and evaluation of programs and policies that affect their life and well-being. Providing the tools and resources to grow strong in the development of emotional, social and behavioral skills.
Stepping N2 Shoes program: Each year we host a shoe drive event collecting new shoes and socks for disadvantaged children and adults who cannot afford a pair of shoes or socks for school or a work.
Anger management program: We use cognitive restructuring in the process of teaching people to recognize signs when they’re becoming angry, and how to take action to calm down and deal with the situation in a positive way. By using timing, avoidance and finding alternatives this will help in knowing the signs of anger and how to control anger.
Employment Training Program: An effective training program is vital to the long-term success of any person, our individual training modules based on the defined needs and goals of each person. It is our goal to develop strategies and partnerships that will facilitate the implementation of successful employment that will reduce recidivism and improve the workforce outcomes for youth and young adults. The training program is designed to strengthen communities through projects that incorporate mentoring, job training, education, legal aid services, and other comprehensive transitional services.
